

Shaykh AbdulAziz Salar Rasoul is a respected Imam, Islamic educator, speaker, and community leader with over two decades of experience serving the Muslim community and inspiring the next generation.
Having memorized the Qur’an at a young age, he began his formal Islamic studies under the guidance of his father, Shaykh Sebghatollah Rasoul, a distinguished scholar who holds both Bachelor's and Master’s degrees in Qur’anic Sciences from the Islamic University of Madinah. He is currently completing an advanced degree in Islamic Studies through Mishkah University, further strengthening his foundation in the Islamic sciences.
Alongside his Islamic education, Shaykh Rasoul holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University, a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto, and a Master of Education from Brock University.
He served as Principal of ISNA High School from 2008 to 2023, helping shape a generation of Muslim youth through visionary leadership and a commitment to Islamic identity and educational excellence. He later served as Director of Religious Affairs for two years.
Today, Shaykh Rasoul serves as Director of Education and Co-Founder of Gen Academy and as a Global Ambassador for Human Concern International. Known for blending traditional scholarship with contemporary relevance, he communicates Islam with clarity, confidence, and creativity through public speaking, education, and digital media, reaching an audience of more than one million followers worldwide.
